The Class of MBA'91D created this endowed scholarship in memory of their classmate Andrew Hordern. Andrew was one of the “sparks” of '91D. He was generous, kind, open to all, helped many, and had a sense of humor that pervaded the whole class. The class continues to make regular donations to their endowment, especially during their class reunions, which has enabled it to grow over the years. Andrew's family and friends also contribute to the scholarship.

Eligibility:

• The award is given to students whose background, work experience and personal profile are considered ‘non-traditional’ for an MBA programme e.g. performing artists, journalists, architects, medical practitioners, military, lawyers, research scientists, those employed in the not-for-profit sector.
• The selection for this award also takes into account each candidate’s financial situation.
