TUM SEED Center Scholarship Announcement International Winter School

“Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice”
The TUM SEED Center for Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship and Development at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is part of the long-term DAAD program “exceed – Excellence Centers for Exchange and Development”, funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development 2020-2024. The TUM SEED Center aims to contribute to sustainable development by offering higher education and conducting research at the intersection of sustainable energies and entrepreneurship in the Global South (https://www.seed.tum.de).
Hereby, the TUM SEED Center announces 10 doctoral scholarships for the International Winter School “Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice”, which will take place as interactive online seminar (from January 18 to February 1, 2021) and will have a special focus on renewable energies and grand societal challenges.
During the International Winter School, you will learn the principles of sustainable entrepreneurship with its combination of economic, social and ecological goals. Through learnings from leading scholars in the field and direct interaction with sustainable founders you will understand how to tackle grand societal challenges and turn them into entrepreneurial opportunities. Working with students from all over the world, you will develop a sustainable business model and present it in front of a Jury. Thus, you will receive a certificate from the TUM School of Management (plus 6 ECTS upon submission of the final written assignment).
